It was Kenseth's fourth Top-5 finish of the year and his 11th in the Top 10.

It also put him back into the season-ending Chase for the Sprint Cup if it were held today (Monday).

Saturday's race marked the halfway point of the 36-race campaign.

Travis Kvapil of Janesville dropped one place to 20th in the Sprint Cup standings after placing 31st at Daytona.

Paul Menard of Eau Claire remains 26th for the year after taking 15th on Saturday.

Johnny Sauter of Necedah rose three spots to 51st after placing 28th. Sauter has raced in five of the 18 Sprint Cup events in 2008.
