Kind to hold listening sessions in area
U.S. Rep. Ron Kind, D-Wis., will be taking advantage of Congress' Easter recess to hold listening sessions across the region.
The listening sessions are open to the public and are intended to give citizens an opportunity to meet directly with Kind to discuss concerns or questions they have with the federal government.
"Traveling the district and meeting with the people of western Wisconsin remains my favorite part of the job," Rep. Kind said.
On March 24 a listening session will be held at the St. Croix Government Center in Room 1281 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. The government center is located at 1101 Carmichael Rd. in Hudson.
Kind will hold a session on March 28 at the Dunn County Judicial Center, Room 1402, located at 615 Stokke Parkway (just off Hwy 12/29) in Menomonie from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
The final session will be held from 3 - 4 p.m. in the County Board room of the Pepin County Government Center located at 740 7th Ave. West in Durand from 3 - 4 p.m.
