Lester Naylor, 84

Lester Naylor was born Dec. 14, 1929 and died peacefully at home on May 28.

He was born in Claremont, Minn., and was married for 56 years to Mardell (Weaver) Naylor where they resided in Star Prairie, Wis.

Les was a Korean War Veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1954. He was an electrician by trade and finished his career at 3M Chemolite in Cottage Grove, Minn., after 33 years. Les was an avid fisherman, enjoyed bowling, playing pool, and metal detecting for old coins and treasures.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a trustworthy friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marty (Mardell); children, Lon (Kristine) Naylor, Todd (Helen) Naylor, and Wendy (Lee) Jensen; daughter-at-heart Kim Sanders; and grandchildren, Sara (Andy) Bisek, and Andrew Jensen; as well as extended family.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at Prairieview Covenant Church, New Richmond, located on Hwy 65 between New Richmond and Star Prairie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
