Lloyd D. "Denny" Anderson, 79

Lloyd D. "Denny" Anderson , retired engineer and sales executive with Doughboy Industries, Inc., died July 3, at age 79. He was mentally active until the few last weeks of his life.

He was born in New Richmond, Wisconsin, on July 5, 1935, and played at many golf courses throughout Wisconsin and Arizona. His Green Valley home was on the 7th fairway of the Quail Course at Quail Creek Country Club, Green Valley, Arizona. Denny had lifelong memories of his favorite sport of golf, which he sometimes referred to as "that's it?".

After graduating from North Texas State with a Bachelor Degree, he returned to his hometown of New Richmond, Wisconsin and began his career with Doughboy Industries, Inc. Denny became a top notch sales executive with Doughboy Industries, Inc. for many years, retiring in 1996.

Alice Quilling (special relationship of 40 years) and Denny both visited New Richmond many times after they moved, in 2004, to the Senior Retirement Community of Quail Creek, in Green Valley, Arizona.

Denny held up amazingly well, after becoming ill a few years ago.

He leaves behind Alice Quilling (special relationship); daughter, Lynne Marie Hagstrom; son, Brad Dennis Anderson; and is also survived by two brothers, Bud Anderson and Roger Anderson.

Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park.
