Local dancers win at nationals

Short Dance Studio's "Blue Line" competition team competed at the Legacy National Dance Championships in Wisconsin Dells during the week of June 16.

The group received top honors for their jazz, tap and ballet routines and were awarded a special "Judges Choice" award for their storytelling abilities.

In addition, the dance troupe was invited back to perform in the elite "Showdown of the Legends," and received third place honors for their jazz number entitled, "Guilty."

Short Dance Studio is located in New Richmond.
