Logo contest deadline extended
The deadline for the St. Croix Central Community Education program logo contest has been moved to the end of January.
A winner will be announced Feb. 1.
Those age 15 and up are invited to design a simple, snappy logo for official SCC-CE use. The winning designer will be awarded $50 in SCC-CE bucks to use toward classes.
Kids age 14 and younger are also invited to design a logo for SCC-CE. This design will be used for youth classes. The winner of the youth contest will get $25 in SCC-CE bucks to use for a class.
To enter, submit your design to Hammond Community Library.
To be eligible, the design must fit on standard 8.5-by-11-inch paper, include the name "St. Croix Central Community Education," be easily legible in both color and black-and-white copying. The work must be original but may be hand or computer generated.
Finally, the winning logos must convey the spirit of SCC-CE's mission, which is "To provide opportunities for connection, growth, learning and fun for all ages and interests of people within the St. Croix Central School District and surrounding communities."
