The Milwaukee Brewers will host Houston tonight.

The Brewers completed a 5-2 road trip Thursday, with a 7-4 victory over the Cubs in Chicago.

It was Milwaukee's first winning road trip in almost four months.

Jody Gerut hit his second career grand-slam, Mike Rivera belted a two-run double, and Dave Bush earned his second straight victory on the mound.

Bush gave up four runs on eight hits in five and two-thirds innings, as he improved to 5-7.

Trevor Hoffman earned his 33rd save. Randy Wells gave up five runs in four innings for the loss. He's now 10-9.

Milwaukee went in front for good in the fourth inning on Gerut's grand slam. Micah Hoffpauir had a two-run pinch-hit double for the Cubs, who lost two straight and fell seven games back for the National League Wild Card with 17 to play.

The Brewers are now four games below .500 at 71-75.

Houston comes into Miller Park tonight at 70-76.

Left-hander Chris Narveson will start for the Brew Crew against right-hander Bud Norris.
