Monday accident sends three to hospital
An accident Monday afternoon on Highway 64 sent three people to the hospital.
At about 4 p.m. a 2004 Ford Freestar Limited van traveling eastbound driven by Jean Hickox, 68, of Hudson, veered off the road at the 2000 block of Highway 64. The van then rolled. The airbag did deploy, according to the sheriff's report.
Hickox and a juvenile passenger were transported to Regions Hospital for non-life threatening injuries; another juvenile passenger was taken to Westfields Hospital, according to the report. All three were using seat belts at the time.
Officers are still investigating the cause of the accident, said Captian Scott Knudson. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
