The Tiger dance team earned first place in the Kick category. The team then placed second in the Pom category.

"We know what we need to do in the next two weeks to come out on top at the regional competition," said Tiger coach Ali Saliny.

Saliny said the team had two great performances, but their kick routine was near flawless.

Seven Tiger dance team members also earned all-conference honors on Saturday. Making the all-conference first team were Rylie Berger, Antje Utgaard and Ari Zeimer. Second team all-conference honors went to Kim Miller, Leah Bauer, Ericka Bohmke and Callie Larrabee.

"New Richmond was represented very well on Saturday and it was great to see so many of our athletes take home that honor," Saliny said.
