New Richmond study findings set for release
New Richmond's third Community Conversation will take place at the WeTEC building, located at 155 W. Third St., on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
The primary purpose of the meeting will be to present the findings that have been compiled through the previous community conversations, surveys and interviews with the mayor, council, and stakeholders.
The material will be presented in relation to building design, traffic calming, wayfinding and signage, landscaping, sidewalks, trees, streetlights, public art, and gathering places.
The conversation will conclude with a discussion of the WeTEC building, which organizers anticipate will comprise a significant portion of the meeting, and will revolve around its current use, as well as suggested options for its future.
A secondary purpose for this Community Conversation is to refine these findings prior to presenting them as recommendations to the City Council.
