By all accounts, the Veterans Memorial Run held on Saturday in New Richmond was a success.

Morning rains held off long enough for all 154 runners and walkers to cross the finish line on South Green Avenue with some, such as Stephanie Hoff. carrying an American flag.  Proceeds of the event, which was sponsored by VFW Post 10818, will be used to meet the needs of local veterans.
