New Richmond woman injured in Barron County crash

A New Richmond woman was injured in a Barron County crash with a semi truck on Wesdnesday morning.

Ann Fernstrom, 51, of New Richmond, was trying to turn onto 23rd Street from U.S. Highway 8 near Cameron, Wis., at about 8:30 a.m., when she was rear-ended by the semi, according to a Wisconsin State Patrol press release. 


Fernstrom sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an Eau Claire hospital via helicopter.
