Not only did the Titans win the team national championship, Kelly and her teammates on the Oshkosh distance medley relay set a national record in winning the championship in that event.

Kelly joined with teammates Christy Cazzola, Stephanie Jahn and Kylee Verhasselt to win the distance medley relay national championship in 11:32.24. That time broke the existing NCAA Division 3 national record. Middlebury College (Vt.) placed second at 11:34.51.

The Titans captured their ninth NCAA women's national track championship in school history. UW-Oshkosh secured four individual titles and one relay crown en route to the championship. Cazzola earned the one-mile run championship for the second time in her career with a time of 4:48.11, and the 5,000-meter run title with a time of 16:57.58. Oshkosh also received national championships from Breanna Strupp in the shot put and Samantha Loew in the 20-meter weight throw.
