The NFL's vice president of officiating said Packers' corner Al Harris should not have been flagged for illegal contact late in Sunday night's win over Chicago.

In his weekly review, Mike Pereira said Harris was within the legal five-yard bumping zone when he hit Bears' receiver Devin Hester.

The Packers were upset about the call, especially because it came at such a critical moment of the game.

Pereira said it's tough sometimes for an official to make the right call, especially when it's 20 yards downfield.

Harris later preserved the Packers' six-point victory by grabbing a key interception in front Bears' receiver Johnny Knox with less than a minute to play.
