No shortage of cranberries to drive up costs for Thanksgiving

Don't worry about a cranberry shortage this Thanksgiving.

The industry says the harvests are running at projected levels and they won't drive up prices for cranberry sauce.

The final harvest numbers are not available yet, but an industry spokesman says Wisconsin should meet the total of 400 million pounds projected this summer.

That's about 10 percent lower than last year's record yield.

Wisconsin is the nation's No. 1 cranberry maker. It grows about 60 percent of the U.S. crop.
