Nominate a Hunger Hero - individual, business or organization
The Food Resource Collaborative of St. Croix County is committed to recognizing and celebrating outstanding volunteer service in the area of food security for St. Croix County.
The biannual outstanding volunteer awards known as Hometown Hunger Hero pay tribute to those individuals, businesses and/or organizations that go above and beyond and make a difference in their communities.
The awards will be presented to the recipient(s) during the April 15 meeting of the Food Resource Collaborative to be held at the Food Resource Center.
Heroes are those who have helped alleviate hunger in their local communities or county, inspire by example and have exceptional commitment, service, or leadership.
Submit written nominations by March 4 to Mary Lestrud, UW-Extension, 1960 8th Ave. Suite 140, Baldwin WI 54002 or email Mary Lestrud.
Include the following: name of individual serving St. Croix County, phone number or other contact information for person being nominated, describe what this person has done to improve food security in their community and name of person or group making the nomination.
