The warning sirens blew in New Richmond, but storm clouds stayed to the north and east Monday afternoon around 2 p.m.

Local farmer Jeff Croes from Croes Udder Dairy just west of Deer Park reported more than an inch of rain fell in about 15 minutes.

A huge blast of hail also fell within a 30-second period, turning some spots white like snow. Hail was also reported in the Osceola area earlier in the afternoon.

There were no specific damage reports immediately.
