One State Patrol vehicle damaged as accidents dot I-94
A Wisconsin State Patrol inspector's vehicle was one of several vehicles damaged in a series of accidents on Interstate-94 Thursday morning in St. Croix County.
According to officials with the Wisconsin State Patrol the accidents happened in the stretch of I-94 running from Roberts to Baldwin.
The first crash was a two-vehicle accident at 9:38 a.m., the second accident followed 10 minutes later.
A little more than 20 minutes later another one-vehicle accident occurred.
This all lad up to the largest accident which happened near the 12.5 mile marker in the westbound lanes. This crash involved five cars including the State Patrol cruiser.
Fortunately only a few minor injuries were reported and officials only had to close one westbound lane for about 30 minutes.
