Packers to look at Burnett for outside linebacker spot
Dallas Cowboys' free-agent linebacker Kevin Burnett is tentatively scheduled to meet with the Green Bay Packers on Saturday.
However, his agent, Ricky Lefft, says at least four other teams have expressed an interest and it's possible Burnett might sign with somebody else before the weekend.
He went San Diego Wednesday and Oakland on Tuesday. Lefft says Burnett might make two other visits but did not say where they might be.
The Packers are looking for depth at linebacker, to fill the outside spots in their new 3-4 defense.
Meanwhile, the Packers now know where they'll be drafting in the first three rounds in April. The NFL released the draft order Wednesday and Green Bay will select ninth, 41st, 73rd, and 83rd.
