Parks input meeting planned for April 24
The New Richmond Park Board is inviting all residents of the New Richmond School District to a Community Public Input meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, from 6:30 - 7 p.m. at the New Richmond Civic Center's lower conference room #2, located at 156 E. First Street.
This is the second of two public meetings.
The purpose of these meetings is to incorporate public participation into the planning, development, and amending of New Richmond's Outdoor Recreation Plan.
The plan is the city's vision to address the public's outdoor recreation needs over the next five years. It will also be used as a work guide that allows the City to be eligible for State and Federal funding.
At this meeting the group will review the comments received from the first community meeting held in March and also the results of the Outdoor Recreation Survey that was available on the city's website. Community members in attendance will be asked for additional suggestions that will be taken into consideration for the Outdoor Recreation Plan.
