Planning for concert season begins in Somerset
Warm weather in Somerset means concert season is getting close.
Country Splash, June 17-19, is in its third year being at Float-Rite Amphitheater. The three-day festival features a roster of country stars such as Aaron Tippin, Josh Thompson, Travis Tritt, Gretchen Wilson, Tanya Tucker, Joe Nichols, Jessie James, Lorrie Morgan, Jimmy Wayne, Keith Anderson and Zac Brown Band.
In addition to the concerts, they are adding some new features to the weekend events.
A new campground -- Preferred Camping -- is located on the venue grounds, enabling a maximum of 200 site-campers to walk to and from the festival.
They are also planning a Sundown Saloon where attendees can dance and party with country rock artists from 6 p.m. until closing time; Country Kidsville, an all-new entertainment area for kids 12 and younger; and an Extreme Sports Show with daily entertainment exhibits.
