Republicans plan Lincoln Day event
The St. Croix County Republican Party will host two prominent speakers for their annual Lincoln Day Dinner, Feb. 24, at the Valley House north of Hudson.
Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen and Jeff Larson, CEO of the Minneapolis -St. Paul Host Committee for the 2008 Republican National Convention, will be the featured speakers.
J.B. Van Hollen was elected Wisconsin's attorney general in 2006. Prior to his election, he served as a federal prosecutor, assistant U.S. attorney and assistant state public defender.
Jeff Larson, a Hudson resident, is a partner in FLS Connect and a leader in political fund-raising. He has been involved in numerous national and state Republican campaigns.
The social hour will begin at 4 p.m. Dinner begins at 5 p.m.
