The forum, broadcast from UW-River Falls, will begin at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, July 28.

To watch, readers may simply click on the link that will appear prominently on each website that day.

The forum will allow voters to compare and contrast incumbent Sen. Sheila Harsdorf, a Republican, with her Democratic challenger, Ellsworth teacher Shelly Moore.

In-person attendance at the event is open to the public, but it will be one of the River Falls Chamber of Commerce's quarterly Business Breakfasts, so there will be a $15 charge and pre-registration is required.

The format for the forum will include prepared questions. Written questions will be accepted from the audience as time permits. Questions to be asked of the candidates can be submitted in advance to Chamber CEO Rosanne Bump at Roseanne@rfchamber.com.

Space at the breakfast is limited and is available on a first-come basis. The deadline to register is 4 p.m. Monday, July 25. Pre-payment is required.

To register to attend, visit www.rfchamber.com or visit the Chamber at 214 N. Main St., River Falls.

The five Rivertown websites are rivertowns.net, riverfallsjournal.com, hudsonstarobserver.com, piercecountyherald.com and newrichmond-news.com.
