Come to the rodeo on Friday, June 26, for Military Night as rodeo officials recognize all past and present members of the armed forces. Individuals with a military ID or a membership card from the American Legion or VFW will receive a $2 discount on gate admission. The Friday program will begin at 7 p.m. with a military honor guard, and will conclude with live music by the Hillbilly Mafia Band immediately following the rodeo.

Stop by for Family Night at the PRCA Rodeo on Saturday, June 27, with activities beginning at 4 p.m. Attractions will include a Fantasy Corral, courtesy of Diana and Larry Rickard of Woodville. The corral will be an educational and engaging experience as it will feature a petting zoo of 15 different species of exotic animals ranging from buffaloes to camels depending on availability. Kids can also enjoy pony rides, which will be provided for a charge as part of the Fantasy Corral.

Sign your junior wrangler up for Mutton Bustin' both Friday and Saturday evenings. Children between ages 5 and 8, and weighing less than 55 pounds, may be signed up at the rodeo. Ten lucky riders will be drawn by lot to get the opportunity to ride sheep as part of the rodeo. Winners will receive a $20 cash prize plus a traveling trophy. All participants will receive a $10 participation award, a Mutton Bustin' T-shirt and a can of pop.

Meet the reigning Miss Rodeo Wisconsin 2009, Eileen Lenzer, as she makes a special appearance at the St. Croix Valley PRCA Rodeo. A native of Wausau, Lenzer travels throughout the state to promote Rodeo and represent Wisconsin. Also attending both evenings will be the 2009 St. Croix Valley PRCA Rodeo Queen Emily Deiss, and princesses, Emily Olson and Alexa Hoffman.

The rodeo will come to a close on Saturday evening with a professional fireworks display at 10 p.m.
