Running back Zach Brown is out of Saturday's homecoming game against Iowa
Running back Zach Brown has been ruled out of Saturday's Wisconsin homecoming game against Iowa.
Coach Bret Bielema said the junior starter had a pretty significant concussion last Saturday at Ohio State. He has not practiced all week.
Sophomore John Clay will get the start at tailback, with freshmen Montee Ball and Erik Smith as the back-ups in that order.
Also, Bielema says he'll go with the same offensive line as a week ago.
Starting right guard Bill Nagy is still not fully recovered from a lingering foot injury. Sophomore Kevin Zeitler will again start in Nagy's place.
Meanwhile, tight end Garrett Graham says he'll be more focused against the Hawkeyes than he was in last week's 18-point loss to the Buckeyes.
Graham was called twice for holding in that contest and he had a key false start penalty just before Ohio State safety Kurt Coleman intercepted a pass and ran it back 89 yards for a score.
It dropped the Badgers to 2-1 in the Big Ten and 5-1 overall.
Iowa comes in with a 10-game winning streak, 2-0 in conference play.
