On Friday, Oct. 29, sixth-graders at St. Croix Central Middle School spent the first half of the school day doing community service. Students and their teachers went out into the community to re-bag cans for recycling, trim trails in the school forest, plant bulbs and bushes at the Baldwin EMS building and rake leaves at residents' homes and the cemetery.
