SCC Zoning Hearing

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The St. Croix County Board of Adjustment has scheduled a public hearing for Thursday, May 28, 2009, at 8:30 a.m. at the Government Center, 1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson, Wisconsin, to consider the following requests under the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance.

The Board will view each site in question, after which the Board will deliberate and vote on the requests.

SPECIAL EXCEPTION 1. APPLICANT: P&P Properties of Somerset, Inc. LOCATION: NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 3, and NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 2, T30N, R19W, Town of Somerset ADDRESS: Off of State Highway 64 REQUEST: Special exception permit to renew a Non-Metallic Mining operation in the Town of Somerset pursuant to Section 17.15(6)(g) of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance. 2. APPLICANT: Brian Colombo LOCATION: Government Lot 3 of Section 22, T30N, R20W, Town of St. Joseph ADDRESS: 1424 Main Street REQUEST: Item #1: Special exception permit for filling and grading within 40 feet of the slope preservation zone in the Lower St. Croix Riverway Overlay District in the Town of St. Joseph pursuant to Section 17.36 F.3.5) of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance. Item #2: Addendum for a special exception to construct a lift in the Lower St. Croix Riverway Overlay District pursuant to Section 17.36 F.3.a.3) and subject to the performance standards in Section 17.36 H.13 of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance. Item #3: Addendum for a variance for the expansion of a nonconforming principal structure in the Lower St. Croix Riverway Overlay District pursuant to Section 17.36 I.2.e) of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance. 3. APPLICANT: Thomas & Kathleen O'Leary, Don LeFever - Agent LOCATION: NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 18, T28N, R19W, Town of Troy ADDRESS: 389 County Road F REQUEST: Item #1: Special exception permit for limited commercial recreational activities that are in the Ag-Residential District in the Town of Troy pursuant to Section 17.15(6)(m) of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance. Item #2: Amendment to Special Exception SE0014, Condition #6 to exceed animal units per acre in the Ag-Residential District in the Town of Troy pursuant to Section 17.15(6)(u) of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance.
