A sea of red

“Imagine looking down and seeing a stream of red T-shirts going through our streets,” Patty Schachtner said at the April 21 Somerset Board of Education meeting.

That sea of red will be 1,328 people wearing Spartan T-shirts taking part in the first annual “Running of the Spartans” from 9-11 a.m. on May 9 in Somerset. The run was originally scheduled for Friday, May 2, but was postponed until May 9 due to possible unfavorable weather.
