This throws the two teams into a tie for the Middle Border Conference lead with one loss each.

Somerset's offense was a two-pronged attack between seniors Jack Emmert and Gaelin Elmore, with each of them scoring 23 points. Emmert started fast, hitting three three-pointers in the first quarter. Elmore was unstoppable in the post area as the Spartans worked to take advantage of his strength advantage.

The Spartans led 15-11 after a quarter and they were ahead 27-19 by halftime. The Spartans hit 13 straight free throws in the fourth quarter to make sure Prescott would not make a comeback.
