Somerset football grinds down New Richmond 44-20 for Homecoming victory

Somerset's mix of big plays and ball control proved too much for the New Richmond on Friday night.

The Spartans rushed for 442 yards and passed for 76 more in defeating the Tigers 44-20 in Somerset's Homecoming game.

Somerset had incredible balance in its ground attack, with four backs rushing for more than 80 yards. Fullback Max Praschak carried for 152 yards and three touchdowns. Reed Baillargeon, Adam Marty and Bailey White each had between 81-88 yards in the game.

Senior halfback Connor O'Loughlin led New Richmond's offense. He scored two touchdowns and caught 10 passes. The third Tiger touchdown came on a fumble recovery by Ben Werner.
