Somerset’s new fire truck finally arrives

You may have wondered what the blasting siren was all about if you were in the Somerset vicinity around 5:45 p.m. on Friday, May 30. It was the celebratory sound of the long-awaited arrival of Somerset Fire/Rescue’s new pumper/rescue truck as it cruised into town.

Fire Chief Travis Belisle and other crew members drove to Appleton to pick up the new truck from Pierce Manufacturing.
