Somerset's Praschak falls by close score in semis
MADISON - Somerset's Max Praschak won't get a chance to wrestle Ellsworth's Dennis Schutz again for the rubber match between two 182-pound prep wrestlers.
Schutz went on to the finals at the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament while Praschak lost a tough 4-2 match to Two Rivers's Bobby Geiger.

Praschak, 37-4 overall, tried to make a late charge at Geiger (46-7) trailing 4-1 in the third period. A stalling penalty and an escape gave Praschak a chnace to get a takedown to tie the match or more but he ran out of time.
Praschak at least ensured a spot on the awards' podium when he won his quarterfinal match with a quick pinfall of West Salem/Bangor's Nick Bushman (31-9) in 1:58.
Praschak will wrestle in the placement matches Saturday afternoon. His first match will be against Gavin Baade (41-2) of Brodhead/Juda.
