St. Anne School prepares for sale
Looking for a place to do one-stop Christmas shopping, and help out local youth as well?
St. Anne's is hosting their fifth annual Christmas Boutique and Cookie sale on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 12 p.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 12, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
The boutique features home-based businesses and homemade craft items.
Vendors can rent an 8-foot table for $10 to display their wares. Proceeds of the table rentals will go towards the St. Anne Home and School general fund.
The cookie sale offers a variety of homemade holiday cookies made by St. Anne Home and School families. Customers are able to mix-and-match, paying by the pound.
The cookie sale will be offered Saturday, Dec. 11, from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 12, from 8 a.m. -1 p.m.
The Scholastic book sale will coincide with the boutique/cookie sale.
In addition, homemade soup -- courtesy of the parents/parishioners -- will be served all day Saturday for a free will offering. Proceeds from the soup will go towards St. Anne's seventh and eighth grade trip to Washington, D.C.
Complimentary drink refreshments, such as coffee, tea and hot cider, will be served all day, both days.
"Parishioners, as well as community members, have been purchasing home-baked cookies at our event for years," said Tiffany Alm, one of the organizers of the event.
"The Christmas Boutique is a one-stop shopping event."
