St. Croix County under another winter weather advisory

St. Croix County under another winter weather advisory until 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23.

The Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from midnight tonight (Monday) to 4 p.m. Tuesday. The previous Wind Chill Advisory has expired, according to the National Weather Service.

Yet another low pressure system will strengthen over the Rockies Monday afternoon and move toward the upper Midwest tonight into Tuesday. Snow will develop across east central Minnesota and into west central Wisconsin late this evening and especially overnight. The bulk of the snow is expected to fall between midnight and 9 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The snow will likely cause travel difficulties during the Tuesday morning commute.

Total snowfall accumulations by Tuesday afternoon will range between 3 and 5 inches across east central Minnesota and west central Wisconsin.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while

driving.
