Star Prairie considers fluoridation
To fluorinate or to not fluorinate, that's the question the Village of Star Prairie will be faced with after a public hearing on the matter on April 10.
In 2012 the village was approached by Sue Lindberg, public health nurse with St. Croix County Public Health, about providing fluoride treatment to its water, said Patsy Johnson, village clerk.
The addition of fluoride to the public water supply is said to reduce tooth decay.
