State Assembly committee addresses computer problems on candidates' financial reports
A state Assembly committee will hold a public hearing Tuesday about problems with the new computer system in which candidates file their financial reports.
The hearing is informational in nature. It comes after the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign complained in March that dozens of reports filed by legislative candidates were not seen on the Web site.
The system is designed to let people know how much state candidates have raised, where their money came from, and how much their campaigns spent during certain periods.
