Stocco still searching for an NFL home
University of Wisconsin quarterback John Stocco is back to square-one in his search for an NFL team.
He took part in the New York Giants' mini-camp over the weekend, but coach Tom Coughlin said Monday that none of the free-agent quarterbacks the Giants auditioned would be invited to training camp.
Coughlin described the work-outs as an opportunity for Stocco and the others.
"They know the situation," said Coughlin.
It was Stocco's second NFL tryout. His first was with the Green Bay Packers earlier this month.
Stocco threw for 7,227 yards and 30 touchdowns in his four years with the Badgers.
