Summer Stretch enrolls 738 students

This year's Summer Stretch program was dubbed the most successful ever by the New Richmond Board of Education at Monday's regular board meeting.


Thirty-six classes were offered at three different schools for students who had just finished first through seventh grade, said Jess Ferguson, coordinator of curriculum and instruction.

"We had the highest number of students enrolled to date with 738 students attending this year," she wrote in a letter to the board.
