Shane Blackman lost 10-6 to Milwaukee Bradley Tech's Justice Parker at 113 pounds while Abram Anderson lost 8-1 to Hartford's Nate Hennes at 132 pounds.

Both Tiger wrestlers had their chances. Blackman gave up an early takedown but came back to get an escape and takedown in the first period to lead 3-2. He got an escape to start the second period to lead 4-2. But he was caught in another throw by Parker and soon he was behind 8-4. Blackman picked up two escapes an only trailed 8-6 in the third but another takedown by Parker with under: 13 seconds to go ended Blackman's chances.

Anderson only trailed Hennes 2-1 heading into the third period and had the top advantage to start the period. He gave up an escape to Hennes and went after to him to try to get a takedown. But Hennes caught him for a throw which led to a five-point takedown and near-fall for the final score of the match.
