Tomah student sues after zero on art project
The Tomah school district faces a lawsuit from a student who says he was discriminated against because he drew a picture for art class with Christian references.
The lawsuit says the student's drawing showed a cross and a reference to the Bible, and because of that, the art teacher censored it.
The student is being represented by the Christian legal group the Alliance Defense Fund.
The lawsuit also says the teacher asked the student to remove the Biblical reference, but when he refused she gave him a zero for the project.
