Training offered at Baldwin HCE leaders will gain insight into several topics
A Home and Community Education leader training event is planned for April 4 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1350 Florence Ave., Baldwin, from 9 a.m. to noon.
This event will give HCE members and others interested.
There will be three speakers from the University of Wisconsin Extension Office:
Joan Sprain will present a program on "Living On Less." She will give money saving ideas and share the ideas you have.
UW-Extension horticulture staff/volunteer program is about "Got Dirt? Gardening in Small Places." How can we use our space to grow food?
Mary Lestrud and Martha Mabis will give a lesson on "Hunger Close To Home." St. Croix County residents feel the crunch.
Everyone is welcome. It would be helpful if you would call or e-mail your reservation to the UW-Extension Office (684-3301, ext. 5 or firstname.lastname@example.org). As you do so, could you give at least one idea you have found helpful to stretch your dollar during economically difficult times?
