Two Hammond women injured Saturday in single-vehicle rollover

Two Hammond women were injured Saturday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash while driving west on Highway 64 about a quarter mile east of 190th Street.


According to Capt. Jeff Klatt of the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office, Angela M. Payne, 24, of Hammond, lost control of a 2007 Toyota sedan, crossed the center line before the car began to roll. Both Payne and her passenger Nicole R. Allegro, 23, of Hammond, suffered significant injuries.
