Two Hammond women injured Saturday in single-vehicle rollover
Two Hammond women were injured Saturday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash while driving west on Highway 64 about a quarter mile east of 190th Street.
According to Capt. Jeff Klatt of the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office, Angela M. Payne, 24, of Hammond, lost control of a 2007 Toyota sedan, crossed the center line before the car began to roll. Both Payne and her passenger Nicole R. Allegro, 23, of Hammond, suffered significant injuries.
Payne was taken to Westfields Hospital before being airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Allegro was airlifted from the scene.
Payne was cited with failure to keep control and reckless driving, according to Klatt.
