New Richmond girl, 14, charged with attempted homicide

Upcoming benefit supports local family

A benefit is being planned in an effort to support Sharon Komorouski of New Richmond, as she battles lung cancer.

A spaghetti dinner and silent auction is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, at Rooster's Roadhouse, 1767 County Road T, rural New Richmond.

Komorouski has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer that has aggressively spread throughout her bones. Bills from tests and possible future treatments have already begun to multiply.

This benefit is being held to raise funds to assist the family with medical costs.

Komorouski owned the New Richmond Bakery for many years.

Organizers are still accepting donations for the silent auction that will be held at the benefit. Auction item donations will be accepted all the way up until the end of day Saturday, April 27.

Contact Ryan Komorouski at 715-781-3003 for more information on how you can donate.
