UPDATE: Wisconsin H1N1 flu cases on the rise
The Wisconsin Department of Public Health released its daily update on the H1N1 novel flu outbreak.
As of 4 p.m. Monday, May 11, there were 414 confirmed cases of the flu and 35 suspected cases. Three cases have been confirmed in Polk County, and one in Dunn County, but no cases have been reported in St. Croix or Pierce counties.
The Center for Disease Control today reported 2,600 laboratory-confirmed cases in the U.S. in 44 states. Three H1N1-related deaths in the U.S. have been reported; two occurred in Texas, and one in Washington State.
