Community Volunteer Service is seeking local volunteers to fill immediate openings:

Office Volunteer - River Falls

Help provide support to girls and women facing an unplanned pregnancy. River Falls Pregnancy Helpline services include pregnancy tests, referrals to doctors, mentoring and fetal development education. Hospital Volunteer - Osceola

Share your love of reading by reading to Osceola Medical Center patients. Help distributing magazines and to patients is also needed. Volunteer times are available morning, afternoon and evening seven days a week. Contact Deb Swiontek at 715-294-3039 for more information.

Tutor - Balsam Lake

Volunteers who enjoy reading and have a desire to help others can tutor an adult at Northern Waters Literacy with reading difficulties who is motivated to improve their skills. Training is provided. Healing Touch Professional - Hudson

Volunteers trained at Level 3 or above in Healing Touch are needed at Hudson Hospital to visit with patients and provide Healing Touch sessions. Days and times are flexible. Contact Sara Nemo at 715-531-6070 or snemo@hudsonhospital.org for more information.

Manicure Assistant - Hudson

Come socialize and give a manicure to the older residents of the Christian Community Homes and Services Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Soak, file, and apply polish to fingernails. Qualifications: has patience and likes to socialize. Adults and youth over age 14 are welcome to volunteer. YMCA Mentor - Hudson
