Walker signs 55 bills into law; eight were co-authored by Sen. Harsdorf

MADISON – Gov. Scott Walker signed 55 bills into law Wednesday. The various laws covered a wide range of issues, from requiring registration by out-of-state sex offenders who move to Wisconsin, to a bill co-authored by Sen. Sheila Harsdorf which requires snowmobiles used for DNR training be equipped with a device to limit their speed to 15 mph.

Walker's press secretary, Laurel Patrickm, characterized each of the new laws this way:
