Walking the Doughboy Trail

Members of the community joined Mayor Fred Horne, City Administrator Mike Darrow and Domain Inc. owner Bill Buell on the morning of Friday, Oct. 11, to be among the first to walk a portion of the Doughboy Trail. The trail, which is still under construction, skirts the edge of the Willow River on 4.71 acres of property Domain has deeded to the City of New Richmond, and it runs from the Mill Pond dam to near High Street. A 25-year easement was provided for 1.22 acres of property.
