Wisconsin ranks second high school graduations

Wisconsin has the nation's second-highest percentage of students who graduate from high school in the normal four years.

Education Week magazine said the Badger State's four-year graduation rate was 81.7 percent as of 2006.

Minnesota was closed behind at 79.2 percent. That's the fourth highest in the country.

Both rates are well above the national average of 69 percent.
