Woman 'critical' after vehicle hit by St. Croix Co. squad car
STAR PRAIRIE -- A woman was severely injured Thursday evening when a St. Croix County deputy responding to an emergency call lost control of his squad car and struck her vehicle.
According to a Regions Hospital spokeswoman, Carolyn Quenzer, 58, of Star Prairie is in critical condition this (Friday) morning. Sgt. Steve Tape of the Wisconsin State Patrol said her injuries are not considered "life threatening."
