Elizabeth Stoebe, PA-C for The Heart Center at Regions Hospital, will speak on "Heart Health for Women."

"This is an exciting time in heart health," says Stoebe. "There are so many new and emerging technologies in cardiology and people are increasingly eager to learn how they can achieve realistic, healthy lifestyle goals."

Stoebe will discuss heart disease and how heart health relates to a person's overall health.

As a sponsor of the event, Westfields Hospital will bring Stoebe to New Richmond to share her deep passion for heart disease prevention and patient education.

Stoebe received her degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine & Public Health and is a certified physician assistant. Her special interests include cholesterol, obesity, diabetes and nutrition.

Linda Stefonek, registered dietitian from Westfields Hospital will be available throughout the conference to discuss heart-healthy lifestyle choices.

"February is American Heart Month. On a day dedicated to matters of the heart, we want to encourage women to become more aware of their own heart health."

Preregistration for the conference is required through New Richmond Community Education, 701 East 11th St., New Richmond. For registration information call (715) 243-7421.
